"Is it too much to ask," Mervyn whined, "for a copacetic holiday? Instead I get one that is more pathetic - too much wind, too little privacy, and ... and ... and INSTANT COFFEE!"

He poured himself a cup from the freshly brewed pot and sat back in his favourite spot under the old orange tree. Warmth from the winter sun spread through his legs and lifted the fragrance off a few large, luminous oranges. He traded a contented sigh for a sip of Earl Grey. Hardly a sound on the morning air. Everything was copacetic.
