nitid

He gazed at the near-naked nitid woman in the garden.  She gleamed as though covered in gold.  He squinted, rubbed his eyes and looked again.  She WAS covered in gold.  "WTF?" he thought.

They weren't done with principal Skinner. At the next full moon, a sizeable contingent of the senior class arranged themselves on his lawn just after midnight. When, lured by pebbles against the window, the principal investigated, he was confronted by a nide of nitid nates.

It was a nitid sunbeam that made its way past the ugly, cracked, square building, through the leaves of the evergreen tree, even through the dirt that had built up on the outside of the window, and struck Penelope's desk, warming her hands on her keyboard, and inspiring them to type the final, surprising chapter of her novel.

curtain lecture

Then came the final straw. During a particularly passionate curtain lecture, Arthur decided that he might as well use the opportunity to perform his nightly denture removal ritual. Remarkably, he's never thought to do that before. As it turned out, it might have been intuitive wisdom that had previously prevented such disastrous thoughts from making it all the way to the conscious mind.
